Father's Day 2009

happy late Father's day out their to everyone. to tired to post.

Our 26th Wedding Anniversary June 11, 2009 Las Vegas, Nevada

BJ & I checked into the Grandview Hotel. We checked in the day before. We had a Sweet. A Kitchen, Living Room, jucusie tub in our Bedroom and seperate from the bathroom, a washer & Dryer. Took some pictures inside and a nice view from the window. A nice swimming pool actually they had more than one. This was also to be fore people to have time shares. We told them we did not want to sit though all of that stuff we were just here for our Anniversary. We got some Piizza from Jesse's on the way.It had 2 TV's . On our Anniversary we were up and ready to go. We opened somethings. Bj forgot my card back at home but he gave me a DVD & A CD. Plus we had the Hotel as a gift for both of us. Then we were out the door. taking the pictures in front of the Hoetel. Then down to the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign which he did not want to do but I talked him into it. I just wanted us to be tourist. So we did it. We went to go eat breakfast we tried first at I Hop but it was a long wait so we just went to McDonald's. Then we were off downtown to the strip to go to the M& M factory. Which we had to park at the MGM way in the back. Finally we arrived out front. We had nice weather for the day. We took some pictures. Inside was for floors. I got an M& M magnet of the letter F. It was cute and we had some fun. Would of bought more but so exspensive. So another time maybe we will get our picture and names on M&M's. Then we were going next door to the Coke a Cola Store it was okay had our picture taken with the Coke a Cola Bear he was funny. The picture you don't see is of the Bears mouth over BJ's head that is one they took with their camera we did not want to pay the money for it.
Then we went outside took a brake for a few minutes took some pictures and more of the Hotels in the background mostly the NY NY, that was across the street from us. Then we were off to get our car and drive down to the Paris Hotel.
We got inside and found out where to go to get the ticket to go up to the top of the Ifel tower the replica of the orginal only this one is 700 ft. and the other is 900 ft. Bj decided he did not want to pay the money since he had been up already. He kept saying I had been up but i never had. So I did my long waiting and finally was able to go up the elevator is smalll and only holds 8 people. Anyway the view from the top was neat. could see pictures of all 4 corners of the city and Hotels. Then back down Bj & I went outside and rested a bit & took some pictures of us with the Paris Hotel sign and stuff in the background. Then I decided I was Hungry now so that is when we changed our minds from Red Robbins to Macayo's since it was closer. We had a nice time. Then we were off to the Boulvard Mall. I found 3 blouses & a dress on sale & was able to get them. Then we were back to the Hotel. The day was nice by then it was over cast but the pool was heated. BJ did not want to swim I did & he sat out & read a book. We went inside & watched a DVD. We had a very nice Day.

BJ hates this what everyone does. I said lets do it anyway, do something different. So we did. we got someone to take our picture and then I had him take mine. So I know it is stupid and funny. But we were being tourist for a day. Really I always wanted to do this.
